FIELD: thermal treatment of loose material.

SUBSTANCE: the heat exchanger for preliminary thermal treatment of material, installed in the dust chamber of the rotating furnace, is made in the form of a platform installed cross the dust chamber and introduced in the furnace, and walls of the dust chamber above the platform. Devices, lowering to the side walls of the platform, are attached to the side walls, and the gas vent from the heat exchanger is connected to the volume free from layer between the material loading chute and the end face wall of the dust chamber. The platform width equals 0.7 to 0.9 furnace diameter, it is made in the form of a trolley connected through a lever to the crank mechanism of the drive.

EFFECT: enhanced capacity of the rotating furnace.
