FIELD: mechanical engineering; welding.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, welding is carried out in several passes. Main pass is done at movement of electronic beam over ellipse, axes ratio 2:1, and larger axis arranged across weld and focus deepened to 2/3 of joint thickness. After main pass, second pass is carried out at constant parameters of conventional specific power and welding conditions with scanning of electronic beam over circle, axes ratio 1:1 and focus deepened to 1/2 and third pass is done with scanning of electronic beam over ellipse with larger axis along weld and focus deepened to 1/3 of weld thickness. Scanning frequency is chosen to relationship f=(29.6-60) Vh/S where f is scanning frequency, Hz; Vh is relative speed of displacement of heating zone in process of welding; S is heating spot displacement at oscillation, mm.
EFFECT: improved quality of welds owing to improved formation of weld.
