FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electron beam welding. In-phase oscillation of electron beam focus and oscillation of lengthwise beam deflection in frequency band of 300-2000 Hz are executed in sine of loner law. Simultaneously, secondary current signal is measured in the circuit of electron collectors and processed by synchronous accumulation process. Delay of processed signal relative to current signal in deflecting coils. Focusing current is controlled by supporting said delay at permanent level corresponding to definite magnitude of electron beam specific power. Claimed device comprises electron collector 1, shift source 2, load resistor 3, deflecting coil 16 current meter 4, first and second ADC 5 and 6, synchronous accumulation unit 7, DAC 8, PID-controller 9, focusing coil 15 current control unit 10, deflecting coil 16 current control unit 11 and generator 12 of saw or sine oscillations.
EFFECT: higher quality of weld making.
