SUBSTANCE: method includes removing the lid of the stop bearing and loosing the crankpin to be worked. A portable grinding tool is used for working, which is secured to the housing of the thrust bearing. The grinding disk is set in rotation, vertical movement, and movement parallel to the axis of the shaft . The shaft is rotated with a velocity which provides formation of the oil wedge in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the grinding disk.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of working.
