FIELD: aviation and construction.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with technologies of bending of sheet materials and may be used for production of the light corrugated fillers of multi-layer panels of aircrafts and building structures. The method provides for bending of a sheet workpiece till formation of zigzagging crimps of a volumetric relief structure, which sizes of development of bending lines of alternating among themselves saliencies and cavities are determined by relationships of the design parameters of the folded plate structure:

where lr - is a space between zigzagging lines of a salience and cavity,Н - height of a zigzagging crimp, L - a half of space between zigzagging crimps, vr - the value of height difference between apexes of zigzagging lines, V - value of height difference between zigzagging saliencies and cavities of a crimp, sr - a half-step between apexes of the zigzagging lines, S - a half-step between the saliencies of the zigzagging crimps. On both sides of a sheet workpiece along lines of bending of saliencies and cavities of development of a folded plate structure there are grooves with a width of no less than thickness of a sheet and with depth and profile allowing folding of the zigzagging crimps of the folded plate structure. The grooves are made on one side of the workpiece along bending lines of cavities and on the other side - along bending lines of saliencies. The grooves may be on both sides of a bending line of the sheet workpiece - both on the sides of saliencies and on the side of cavities of the zigzagging crimps. The invention allows to increase accuracy of shaping of zigzagging crimps.

EFFECT: the invention allows to increase accuracy of shaping of zigzagging crimps.
