NATURAL WATER AND SEWAGE AERATION SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: biological treatment of natural water and sewage; aeration system of natural water and sewage. SUBSTANCE: proposed system includes collector for supply of compressed air, air duct communicated with this collector and air distributing pipes aerators mounted on them; each aerator has disk-shaped body with threaded branch pipe in its base, hold-down member and diaphragm laid between them. Multi-layer diaphragm consists of at least two layers having differential porosity. Lower layer of diaphragm is made from loose fibrous polyethylene at sizes of pores ranging from 0.2 to 2mm; upper layer is made from dense fibrous polyethylene at sizes of pores ranging from 0.01 to 0.19 at ratio of height of layers of 1:-/1 to 1:2 or from stainless steel at superfine laser perforation at ratio of thickness of this layer to diameter of perforations ranging from 1:0.5 to 1:4. Bodies of aerators are connected with hold-down members by means of threaded joints. Air distributing pipes are provided with orifices; branch pipes located under them are provided with threads for connection with central branch pipes of aerator bodies at ratio of diameter of hole to inner diameter of branch pipe ranging from 0.1:1 to 1:1; sections of air ducts and air- distributing pipes are connected by means of threaded unions. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of aeration; reduced coefficient of non-uniformity of aeration in length of system; enhanced operational reliability; ease in mounting. 2 dwg, 2 tbl
