FIELD: petroleum processing and road building.

SUBSTANCE: process comprises mixing bitumen, liquid polybutadiene rubber, and hydrocarbon lubricant at 120-160^оС for 1-1.5 h at ratio between 94:4:2 and 96:3:1, respectively, and shear rate 50 to 900 sec^-1. Liquid rubber utilized is (i) cis-1,4-polybutadiene containing 30-75% of cis-1,4 units and having molecular weight between 200 and 70 000 or (ii) 1,2-polybutadiene containing 20-70% of 1,2 units and having molecular weight between 500 and 40 000. Hydrocarbon lubricant utilized has high concentration of aromatic hydrocarbons.

EFFECT: simplified technology, improved homogeneity of composition, and reduced power consumption.
