FIELD: rocketry; testing facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for testing construction elements of rocket engines, particularly, heads and inserts made of composite materials and their attachment members. Use of rocket engine with ring critical section as gas-dynamic testing device makes is possible to provide attached flow relative to walls of tested members and simulate lifting forces at all duties without considerable complication of design of test stand.
EFFECT: improved reliability of tester.
