FIELD: mechanical engineering; methods of determination of mechanical parameters and parameters of mechanical oscillating systems.

SUBSTANCE: first method consists in revealing resonance area of frequencies (fl.,fh); at increased frequency of exciting force of object "f" after passage of f1 rate of change of frequency vf1 is measured and recorded; then, amplitude of oscillations of object A1(f) is recorded and frequency fl.h. is determined as frequency of exciting force above which amplitude of oscillations is reduced; magnitude of amplitude Al.h. is determined from A1(f) and respective magnitude of rate of change of frequency vf1 is determined at frequency fl.h. In case of reduction of frequency of exciting force of object "f":, similar actions are performed at opposite accuracy. Upon obtaining magnitudes of amplitudes Al.h. and Ah.l. at corresponding frequencies fl.h. and fh.l. and rate of change of frequency vf1 and vf2, magnitudes of parameters of oscillations at resonance are estimated: amplitude Ar, frequency fr and Q-factor of mechanical oscillating system of object. Second method consists in determination of tolerable level of exciting force and rate of change of frequency at passage of resonance area; exciting force shall not exceed tolerable level, frequency "f" is increased at rate vf1 not below tolerable level; upper magnitude of frequency fh is set for exciting force and mode of operation of object is kept till stationary oscillations; frequency f is reduced at rate vf2 not below tolerable level.

EFFECT: avoidance of any effect on operating mode of object; avoidance of stoppage and delays at resonance frequencies; enhanced efficiency and reliability.
