FIELD: experimental medicine, mineralogy.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with studying biomineral formations and, particularly, detecting the content of protein compounds in renal calculi. As biological material one should apply renal calculi which should undergo extraction concentrating after being reduced; as an extragent one should apply the mixture of the following composition: chloroform : ethanol at 1:1 volumetric ratio, moreover extraction concentration takes place at the room temperature for 3 d due to 3-fold repetition. After extragent's evaporation one should dissolve dry residue in distilled water to obtain optimal protein concentration followed by addition of Benedict's reagent and spectrophotometry at the end of the assay.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of detection.
