SUBSTANCE: proposed detector has case with input window, radiation converter in the form of single-channel mechanical structure formed by thin parallel heavy-metal foil wafers, and multiple-wire proportional chamber, all disposed in gas medium; radiation converter has in addition two light-metal foil wafers disposed at ends of parallel heavy-metal foil wafers.
EFFECT: enhanced spatial definition of detector.
