FIELD: radio electronic and stereo broadcasting engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes transmission of audio signals as well as pulse-code signals of transmitting devices over one or four audio-frequency broadband channels; in the process pulse-code signals of transmitting devices incorporating data on spatial location of primary acoustic transmitters in the form of acoustic transmitter number turn-on code corresponding to definite volume level of each acoustic transmitter and code corresponding to acoustic transmitter directivity angle of turn are transmitted in narrow-band code channel; in receiving device N acoustic transmitters are spatially distributed, each of N acoustic transmitters occupying definite position in space in compliance with pulse-code signal of devices; nx acoustic transmitters are shifted in space by switching over their numbers in response to pulse-code signals being received; each of nx acoustic tranmitters connected in response to pulse-code signals is fixed in space during each moment and radiates sound energy of different volume in response to pulse-code signals.
EFFECT: provision for introducing stereo television broadcasting without extending channel frequency band.
