FIELD: sound recording equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sound recording equipment; it is designed for use in audio equipment when recording sound vibrations, as well as for playback of sound from a recorded carrier. The system for audio-holographic recording and playback of audio information includes two surfaces identical in shape and size, located at a predetermined distance from each other. On the first surface, at a distance from each other not exceeding 0.5 of the minimum length of the recorded sound wave, a set of independent microphones is installed to record the sound wave front falling on the first surface. On the second surface, a set of speakers is installed in an identical way to restore the shape of the sound wave front and its frequency, each of which is connected to a microphone located at a similar point on the first surface. The connected pairs of microphones and speakers have equal acoustic characteristics. The system is designed to synchronize the shape of the sound wave emitted by the source and playback by the speaker.
EFFECT: possibility of restoring not only the frequency of the recorded sound wave, but also the geometry of its front due to the implementation of the Huygens-Fresnel principle for sound waves.
