FIELD: medicine, traumatology, orthopedics.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with restoring affected function in patients with deforming arthrosis of knee joints. One should visually detect the defect area at articular femoral or tibial surface, its bottom should be dissected up to visually healthy tissues. In underlying bone, with the help of hollow cutter one should form canals to save walls. Osseous blocks developed at working with hollow cuter should be removed. Out of spongy part of skeletal bones (for example, iliac ala) with the help of analogous instrument one should form donor autotransplants which should be in turn inserted into the canals. Excessive part of bony tissue developed at a transplant should be resected. The present innovation enables to form cartilaginous tissue in area of cartilaginous defect and deteriorates the development of deforming arthrosis.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of autoplasty.
