FIELD: cryogenic equipment, particularly dehydration units for helium liquefiers and refrigerators.
SUBSTANCE: method involves heating adsorber up to 180oC- 200oC and cooling adsorber by gas flow with partly venting thereof into atmosphere. Nitrogen is used as regenerative gas. Adsorber is heated in two stages. The first one includes heating regenerative gas up to 100 - 110oC, ejecting and mixing thereof with air flow to form gas vented into atmosphere after regeneration process completion. The second stage includes providing gas flow circulation through adsorber and venting gas flow portion equal to that of gas flow ejected in device. As adsorber reaches 180 - 200oC temperature heating and ejection processes are finished and vacuum is applied to adsorber to reduce its pressure up to 1·10-2 mm Hg. Device for adsorber regeneration additionally comprises pipeline for supplying high-pressure dehydrated working gas flow, pipeline for low-pressure pure working gas, circulation, vacuum and pumping ejectors, pipeline for feeding nitrogen with measured flow rate and pipeline for feeding atmospheric air having filter and valve.
EFFECT: increased dehydration degree, simplified service conditions.
