FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method includes gas compression in multi-stage compressor together with regeneration gas recirculated to one of compression stages with generation of liquid hydrocarbons released during gas compression, its part passage as desorbing agent through the first layer of the adsorbent in the adsorber being at the first stage of regeneration, it them is mixed with the rest part of liquid hydrocarbons released during gas compression, the mixture is cooled, separated and supplied for drying in the adsorber at adsorption mode, by gas passage through the first and second layers of the adsorbents with generation of the dried compressed gas, at that in the first layer the adsorbent with regeneration temperature more lower than temperature of the liquid hydrocarbons released during gas compression is used, and in the second layer the adsorbent with more higher regeneration temperature is used, its major part is directed to the consumer, and other part is throttled and supplied to the adsorber at the second stage of regeneration, by gas passage in series through the second heated to temperature of its regeneration, and first layer of adsorbents with generation of the regeneration gas. After heating of the second adsorbent layer and completion of the regeneration stage the adsorber is cooled.
EFFECT: invention ensures effective gas drying, reduced adsorbent charge volume, and increased of its service life.
