FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: adsorption dryer comprises two sections, combined in one unit by a common housing and interconnected by distribution piping of the gas flows, the upper input and lower output chambers with pipes for dried and dehydrated gas and uniform mains for the coolant. Each section is made in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped, equipped with upper and lower grids integrally attached to it, comprising openings in the form of elongated rectangles, in which the retorts of same shape in cross-section with gaps are fixedly inserted, filled with the adsorbent, forming in section the inter-retort space. The open upper and lower retort sides are covered with meshes pressed against the grids of the sections through the upper input and the lower output chambers. The lower output chamber comprises a sloping bottom and is equipped with a pipe and a valve for discharging moisture, and the upper input chamber is provided with a pipe, a three-way cock, and a pipeline for discharging from the retorts of vapour products of adsorbent regeneration.
EFFECT: increase in reliability, reduction of heat consumption, reduction of metal consumption, increase in intensity of heat exchange and drying efficiency.
