FIELD: plastic working of metals, namely manufacture of hollow parts of tubular blanks.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of heating tubular blank and deforming its end portion. During deformation process end portion of tubular blank is preliminarily upset and template is introduced inside it by predetermined depth. Blank around template is iron-bound and then template is pressed out. Cross section surface area of template is no more than surface area of inner circle of tubular blank.
EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities.
