FIELD: manufacture of building materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacture of building materials for especially strong heavy-loaded large-size building units and can be used when manufacturing bearing structures reinforced by common acid-degradable steel and designed for construction of prefabricated buildings and other construction objects with chemically aggressive commodities having no anticorrosive protection and also when manufacturing decorative and finishing products for making durable outside facings for buildings in gas-laden atmosphere of contemporary industrial cities, pavements, floor plates, etc. instead of products from naturally occurring stones such as granite, jasper, quartz sandstone, etc. Mix of invention contains, wt parts: binding material with particle size up to 1.25 mm consisting of crystalline modifications of tridymite-cristobalite silica with 0.1-2.0 mol % alkali metal hydroxide, 24.8 (tridymite-cristobalite) and 28.4 (ground quartz sand); ordinary quartz sand as filler 17.7-25.7; 5-15% aqueous sodium hydroxide solution as tempering liquid, 11.1, and additionally thermally treated mineral fiber with thread diameter 0.2-0.5 mm and length 50-150 mm, 10-18. According to another alternative, mix is composed of, wt parts: binding material with particle size up to 1.25 mm consisting of crystalline modifications of tridymite-cristobalite silica with 0.1-2.0 mol % alkali metal hydroxide, 14.3 (tridymite-cristobalite) and 15.6 (ground quartz sand); filler: mixture of ordinary quartz sand 12.6 and quartz fraction 5-20 mm, 33.7-41.7; 5-15% aqueous sodium hydroxide solution as tempering liquid, 5.8, and additionally thermally treated mineral fiber with thread diameter 0.2-1.0 mm and length 50-100 mm, 10-18.

EFFECT: increased strength characteristics of large-size heavy-loaded building units.
