FIELD: needlework; finishing edges of cloth.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in making the chain along edge of cloth by means of hook; stitches are put on knitting needle and are connected with cloth afterwards. Stitches of chain remain on cloth. Chain may be made from both sides of cloth.
EFFECT: facilitated procedure; reduced labor consumption; improved appearance of article.
