FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed fuel system of diesel engine contains fuel tank, filter, pump, starting preheater, nozzle secured on engine cylinder block head, diesel fuel activators, pipeline with bypass line and regulating valve on section before nozzle. System includes additional bypass line with check valve and insert with high-voltage electrodes. Inner geometry of insert is made in form of paraboloid of rotation.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of diesel fuel at starting, even at low ambient temperatures.
