FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel systems of diesel engines. Proposed fuel system of diesel engine contains fuel tank, filter, pump, fuel pipeline, starting preheater of engine, nozzle secured on head of cylinder block and diesel fuel activators. Introduced additionally into system are valve, viscosity reducing substance meter and part of fuel pipeline is made in form nozzle. Viscosity reducing substance meter is located in part of fuel pipe nozzle in low pressure area. Valve and meter are connected in series according to bypass line scheme before activators and are made for cutting in at starting of diesel engine and automatically cutting off of bypass line after starting of engine. Valve is made for changing over to bypass line operation position. EFFECT: reduced energy consumption at starting and consumption of diesel fuel in operation, enlarged operating capabilities owing to reliable starting of engine at low ambient temperatures. 1 dwg
