FIELD: ammunition, applicable in development of high-explosive and core-type warheads of rockets, artillery shells and aerial bombs; besides, it may be used in blasting operations for peaceful purposes.
SUBSTANCE: the efficiency of the destructive effort of ammunition is enhanced due to enhanced power of the burst, as a result of reduction of the time of explosive transformation and rise of the explosion energy in the directions perpendicular to the side surface of the charge. The bursting charge provided with the main cylindrical explosive charge with the central axial plane and a circular layer of a sensitive explosive has an additional explosive charge. This additional explosive charge is made in the form of a shaped precharge facing with its shaped recess closely the end of the main charge in the axial line. As compared with the closest analog, the time of full explosive transformation of the combination bursting charge is lower by 2.15 times, and the speed of dispersion of the detonation products is higher by 10-11%.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of the destructive effort of ammunition.
