FIELD: mining industry, open and underground geotechnology, blasting of crumbling rocks.
SUBSTANCE: groups of holes in the crumbling rock mass are drilled, charged and blasted. The value of the uncharged part of each hole is determined mathematically depending on its diameter, detonation characteristics of the explosive, physico-technical properties of the rock mass cleavages, parameters of it jointing, friction coefficient between the rock mass cleavages, dimension of the conditional lump and the effect of engagement of adjacent explosive charges.
EFFECT: provided the preset degree of crushing of the crumbling rock mass by a blast due to production of an uncharged part of a definite length in the deep-hole (blast-hole) charge.
