FIELD: mining industry, underground and open geotechnology, blasting of crumbling rocks for obtaining the preset degree of crushing.
SUBSTANCE: holes in the crumbling rock mass are drilled, charged and slow-down blasted. The distance between the holes in a group and between the groups of holes is determined depending on their diameter, detonation characteristics of the explosive, physico-technical properties of the rock mass, parameters of its jointing, dimension of the conditional lump, value of the rock pressure and the friction coefficient. The holes in a group are located at a definite distance and the required distances between the hole group provide for obtaining the preset degree of crushing of crumbling rock masses.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of capacity of mining.
