FIELD: measuring engineering.
SUBSTANCE: two pulse pickups of angular position are mounted on the shaft. In rotation of unloaded shaft the signals from the pickups are synchronized in phase of torsional oscillations to be measured. When the shaft is loaded, the shifts of signal pulses of torsional oscillations are determined in two spaced sections of the shaft. The difference between the shifts determine the angular deformations caused by the oscillations of the torque in the drive of machine.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and reliability of measurements.
