FIELD: agriculture, in particular, increasing of productivity of natural feed lands, tramped and degraded pastures.
SUBSTANCE: method involves providing strip plowing of soil; sowing grass seeds on these strips and covering sown rows; providing surface improvement of soil on said strips in pasture system on lands not subjected to wind erosion and on lands with design soil covering less than 30% by tilling strip soil to 0.10-0.12 m depth by means of heavy-duty disk harrows and sowing seeds of wheat grass; providing postsowing covering of sown grass seeds by means of star-wheeled rollers and performing surface application of mineral fertilizers.
EFFECT: improved keeping and useful employment of steppe pastures, increased productivity of degraded pastures and restoration of fertility of zonal soil, improved protection from wind and water erosion.
