FIELD: medicine, neurology.
SUBSTANCE: one should detect the combination of factor of three categories: anamnestic, clinical and laboratory signs to adopt a certain prognostic coefficient for every symptom expressed in points, in accordance with a Table for individual evaluation for the risk of development of focal form of tick-borne encephalitis. Prediction should be performed due to comparing the sum of coefficients for concrete patient at average known probability as low ranged -73 to 0 points, as middle ranged from 0 to +71 points and high probability ranged from +72 to 138 points. The method enables to predict possibility for the development of focal form of tick-borne encephalitis during the first day of disease at 85-90% accuracy.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of prediction.
