FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves applying monochromatic luminous radiation in red spectrum bandwidth of λ=0.67 mcm to hemangioma area using labile contact-free method. Circular movements are carried out from peripheral zone towards the center with intact surrounding tissue being essentially captured in zone of radius reaching 1 cm. Maximum power density flow is equal to 48 mW in continuous irradiation mode of 7.5 mW/cm2. Single procedure is 5 min long during the first session. The procedure duration is reduced every day by 10 s. The total treatment course is 15-20 procedures long. The procedures are given every day in the morning at the same time. Two treatment course are administered with 1-3 months long pause.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in achieving involution and regress of hemangiomas; soft cicatrix formation.
