FIELD: plastic working of metals, namely tools for radial forging used in presses of four-striker forging apparatuses and in radial squeezing machines.
SUBSTANCE: tool includes two pairs of strikers arranged in mutually normal planes and having cutouts. Striker is provided with two pairs of mutually shifted along lengthwise axis working inclined surfaces. Each pair of inclined surfaces has mutually adjoined long and short surfaces. When strikers are drawn together long working surfaces form two rhombs arranged cross like.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process due to intensified deformation of cast structure of blank metal.
