SUBSTANCE: invention can be recommended for concentrating naphtholmonosulfoacids (1-naphthol-4-sulfoacid, 1-naphthol-5-sulfoacid) in treated sewages in manufacturing azodyes. Method for extraction concentrating naphtholmonosulfoacids from aqueous solutions involves addition of ammonium sulfate to an aqueous solution up to its concentration in solution 38.7% and extraction concentrating is carried out with a mixture of solvents consisting of 64.5 wt.-% of acetone and 35.0-35.5 wt.-% of butanol-1 in the volume ratio of extractant to sample = 1:10. The proposed method provides practically complete (above 95%) extraction of naphtholmonosulfoacids in a single extraction procedure.

EFFECT: improved concentrating method.
