FIELD: petrochemical processes.
SUBSTANCE: desired high-calorific value gas is obtained from organic substances or mixtures thereof via circulation in heat carrier medium circuit over the heating zone, reaction zone, pyrolysis zone, and separation zone to be finally returned into the heating zone. Organic substances or mixtures thereof are cleaved in the pyrolysis zone when in contact with hot heat carrier medium into solid hydrocarbon-containing residue and pyrolysis gas. After passing pyrolysis zone, solid hydrocarbon-containing residue is separated from heat carrier medium in the separation stage. Pyrolysis gas is mixed with water steam in the pyrolysis zone, whereas collected solid hydrocarbon-containing residue is sent into a special fire chamber to be burned. Hot gases escaping fire chamber are passed to loose bulk of heat carrier medium contained in the heating zone, most heat being transferred in a special manner to heat carrier medium.
EFFECT: enabled production of high-quality, non-diluted, high calorific gas with insignificant expenses.
