FIELD: consumer goods industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of properties of light industry products, namely to devices for measuring breaking characteristics of textile material. Experimental installation for investigation of cooled textile materials is intended for investigation of their discontinuous characteristics. At that, fixing of loading action value at the moment of textile material rupture takes place with preservation of preliminary freezing temperature of textile sample using special built-in detachable clamping parts of the design of the breaking machine, which are simultaneously cooling agents, having heat accumulating properties with the effect of maintaining negative temperature for 4 hours, pre-formed in the refrigerating chamber.

EFFECT: technical result is possibility of testing samples of materials in frozen state from 0 to -25 °C at negative cooling temperatures.
