FIELD: electrical engineering; designing dc supplies.
SUBSTANCE: device has N-section uncontrolled magnetoelectric generator set in rotary motion by means of motor shaft. Each of m-phase windings incorporated in respective generator section is connected to m-phase regulated thyristor bridge rectifier whose output is connected to load circuit. Neutral leads of windings are connected to dc output leads of respective rectifiers through current-setting resistors shorted out by capacitor. Fuses inserted between phase leads of generator windings and their neutral leads function to disconnect circuit upon occurrence of short circuit in windings, power lines, or thyristors. On occurrence of short circuit in load circuits channel starts functioning to regulate load current so that fuses inserted in phase leads of windings do not burn out.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability in short-circuit conditions at optimal mass and size characteristics.
