FIELD: agriculture, in particular, presowing treatment of seeds and grown plants.
SUBSTANCE: method involves presowing radiation of seeds in pits in grain storage by means of laser beam providing for scanning simultaneously in two mutually perpendicular planes; exposing pit surface to radiation by means of laser unit operating in automatic mode at radiation rate preliminarily set for given crop; upon termination of radiation procedure, leaving seeds for rest to provide for energy exchange between radiated and non-radiated seeds in pit; sowing seeds in the field and cultivating crop; exposing plants to one radiation procedure at each of growing stages characteristic of given crop at night by laser beam, which simultaneously provides for scanning in two mutually perpendicular planes by means of similar laser unit operating in automatic mode at radiation rate characteristic of given crop. Radiation is performed by moving laser unit on the field with plants or along process tracks.
EFFECT: increased yield and reduced production costs.
