FIELD: medicine, pulmonology.
SUBSTANCE: one should determine the altered forced expiratory volume for the 1st sec (ΔFEV1) in % against initial value after bronchoprovocational test with 0.1%-acetylcholine chloride solution, calculate smoking man index (SI)to solve the following discriminant equation: D = 0.49 x ΔFEV1 - 0.038 x SI, and at D value being below -11.98 it is possible to predict progressing respiratory tract obstruction. The present innovation enables to efficiently predict progressing respiratory tract obstruction due to integral evaluation of bronchial reactivity.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of prediction.
