SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring forced expiration volume per 1 s (FEV1) in l, forced expiration volume increment per 1 s (ΔFEV1) in % from the initial volume after bronchial provocation test with 0.1% acetyl choline solution. Systolic blood pressure in pulmonary artery (SBPLA) is calculated IN mm of mercury column and ratio of maximum blood circulation flow speeds through tricuspid valve into diastola (E/A). Discriminant equation is evaluated as D=-13.359 FEV1 - 1.228 ΔFEV1 + 0.269 SBPLA - 3.517 E/A. D> -9.40, chronic cor pulmonale is predicted to occur within 1 year.
EFFECT: high accuracy of prognosis.
