SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing medicinal substances and agents of the vegetable origin. Method for preparing propolis viscous extract involves grinding crude propolis, extraction with 96% ethyl alcohol and filtration. Extraction is carried out at the ethyl alcohol boiling point. Prepared extract is cooled to temperature 60^oC and filtered, cooled to temperature from -8^oC to -12^oC, filtered at this temperature and alcohol is distilled off under vacuum at 78^oC up to preparing propolis extract with the content of alcohol 25%, not above. Also, invention relates to a medicinal preparation comprising an active substance and pharmaceutical base that comprises propolis viscous extract as an active substance obtained by the claimed method. Method provides the complete isolating all extractive substances from crude propolis, to simplify technological process, to remove all alcohol-soluble and alcohol-insoluble waxes from propolis extract and to obtain propolis extract with the improved technological properties, i. e. with improved plasticity, higher content of extractive substances and eliciting anti-inflammatory, wound-healing and antibacterial effects.
