FIELD: sportive equipment, which may be used for rehabilitation of patients with traumatized spinal cord, infantile cerebral paralysis etc.
SUBSTANCE: exercising apparatus has two vertical bars mounted on horizontal supports and running track positioned between horizontal supports. Frame with blocks and counterweight, movable knee thrusts with talocrural articulation holders are fixed to bars. Patient is attached in suspended state by means of puller and breast belts to apparatus while holding by handrails, his feet being in contact with running track. Each knee of patient is attached by elastic belts to movable knee thrusts. Synchronous motion of knee thrusts is provided by means of crank transmission.
EFFECT: increased efficiency owing to prolonged passive motion of patient's legs over running track and reduced pressure to patient's legs supporting area.
