DEVICE FOR MEASURING FREQUENCY DISTORTIONS (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2241234 C1

FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: device is intended for measuring levels of frequency distortions induced by two-port networks. By means of test signal generator and spectrum analyzer the signal is formed which has instant values to define values of standardized amplitude-frequency characteristic of two-port network. Signal form to input of subtraction unit. Fixed voltage is applied to second input of subtraction unit. Output of subtraction unit is connected with input of magnitude selecting unit. Quantitative evaluation criterion of frequency distortions is frequency distortion area achieved as a result of integration. Alternative variation of the device has subtraction unit to be substituted by unit for taking logarithms.

EFFECT: improved precision of evaluation of frequency distortions.
