FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of estimation of frequency distortion is based upon division of output signal spectrum to N+1 equal frequency bands. Reference signal is extracted from received spectrum within frequency band disposed in middle part of spectrum. Then averaged rectified value of reference signal is measured as well as averaged rectified values of partial signals, which correspond to rest N frequency bands. N differences of partial signals and reference signal is determined and root-mean-square value of achieved N differences is found. Achieved value is divided for value of reference signal. Device has noise generator, units for measurement of averaged rectified values, group of subtracters and functional converter.
EFFECT: improved result of estimation of frequency distortion induced by four-terminal network into initial signal.
