FIELD: electrical engineering; low-noise and low-vibration electric drives.
SUBSTANCE: proposed electric drive that has electric motor whose stator winding is connected to output of power converter, phases of the latter being switched over in response to signals arriving from rotor position sensor, is provided with newly introduced controlled switch and series-connected minimum separation unit, intensity control element, and maximum separation unit, all these units being designed to control rate of current drop in motor phase windings during disconnection of phases.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of motor noise and vibration suppression.
