FIELD: radio engineering; miscellaneous radio systems requiring high-quality frequency selection of signals.
SUBSTANCE: upon implementing first stage of synthesis, that is selection of approximating function close to desired amplitude-frequency response, the latter is periodically extended in frequency with period Tw and then disintegrated into trigonometric Fourier series, and factors of this series A0, A1, A2, … An are found to determine weighting factors a0, a1, a2, … an. In the process filter being synthesized is presented as two similar series-connected sections each incorporating delay line loaded into adder with weighting factors and phase shifters inserted in their taps, and then one period of amplitude-frequency response is separated.
EFFECT: enhanced precision of desired response implementation without using active elements and peripheral energy supplies.
