FIELD: radar and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio vision systems, providing acquisition of images of scene objects, comparable in detail to an optical image and can be used in aperture synthesis in radar stations with a continuous linear frequency-modulated signal. In the method, the above result is achieved due to the operation of the radar in the continuous mode, the reception of the reflected signal with the acquisition of a beat signal of the reflected signal with the probing signal, demodulation of the beat signal, using a reference signal that compensates for the migration of scene signals over the range and phase in the aperture synthesis interval, after which the signals are compressed in range and the signals of the scene elements are selected in a uniform grid of Doppler frequencies.
EFFECT: increased stealth of operation of the radar with simultaneous simplification of the procedure for compensating the signal migration of the target in range and phase.
