FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: cooling liquid contains aluminum and alloying elements such as silicon, manganese and iron at next relation, mass %: silicon, 11.1 - 12.3; manganese, 0.1 - 0.3; iron, 0.5 - 0.7; aluminum, 88.3 - 86.7. Presence of silicon and manganese lowers liquid viscosity and promotes increase of convection cooling. Iron content used in range of its solubility in aluminum eliminates process of dissolution of steel bath of crystallizer.
EFFECT: enhanced quality and operational properties of castings.
