FIELD: casting processes and equipment.
SUBSTANCE: cooling liquid contains aluminum and alloying elements such as copper and silicon. Components are taken at next relation, mass. %: copper, 25.6 - 27.8; silicon, 5.1 - 5.4; aluminum, 69.3 - 66.8. Presence of silicon provides enhanced fluidity and lowered viscosity of alloy. Silicon and copper have high heat conductivity, heat capacity and density providing increased convection cooling.
EFFECT: enhanced quality, improved technical and operational properties of castings.
