FIELD: logging industry, in particular, wood transportation equipment.
SUBSTANCE: wood holding ground has sections and river bank supports. Each wood holding ground section is provided with pontoons secured with one another by means of inserts composed of metal chain links, with free ends of outer inserts being connected to plates. Wood holding ground is equipped with bottom supports. Outer plates of one sections of one row are connected by power cables with bank and bottom supports, and outer plates of other sections are connected with bottom supports. Sections are arranged so as to define free space. Subsequent row of wood holding ground sections is positioned opposite said free space on bottom supports. Adjacent module sections may be arranged in opposed spaced relation with respect to one another, with space being equal to length of one section.
EFFECT: wider operational capabilities and increased efficiency.
