SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out the alkylation reaction of benzene with ethylene in the presence of aluminum chloride-base catalyst complex. The recovery of isolated diethyl benzene and triethyl benzene at the alkylation stage is 5-95% and other amount is removed as individual substances. Invention provides enhancing output of alkylating agent by ethyl benzene and expanded assortment of preparing compounds.
