MULTI-ROW BALL SUPPORT Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2241815 C1

FIELD: oil and gas extractive industry.

SUBSTANCE: device has 12-15 rows of balls supported by conical surfaces of stator casings and on conical surfaces of rotor casings. Position of each row of balls on casings is determined by diametrical and axial dimensions of rotor and stator insert rings. Slant of conical surfaces of rotor casings to plane perpendicular to longitudinal axis of multi-row ball support is selected from range between 15 and 35°. Slant of conical surfaces of stator casings to plane, perpendicular to longitudinal axis of multi-row ball support, is for 5-15° less than slant of same plane of conical surfaces of rotor casings.

EFFECT: higher durability, higher reliability.
