FIELD: chemical, petrochemical, pharmacological, food and other industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices reducing hydraulic resistance at transportation of liquids along pipelines. It can be used for hydraulic transportation of viscous Newtonian and non-Newtonian liquids, suspensions, and solutions. Proposed device aimed at reducing hydraulic losses in pipeline at transportation of conducting liquids has dc source with two electrodes, one of which is made in form of inner wall of pipeline manufactured of conducting material and it contains device to create prewall layer of working liquid with reduced coefficient of friction. Said device is made in form of dielectric material pipe installed coaxially to pipeline, of diameter equal to 93-98% of pipeline inner diameter. Groove in form of spiral is made on outer surface of pipe in which second electrode made of wire is secured.
EFFECT: reduced hydraulic losses in pipeline, simplified design, cut down power consumption for electrolysis of transported conducting liquid with formation of prewall gas layer of electrolytic gases.
